A Case of Pulsatile Tinnitus Following Traumatic Superficial Temporal Arteriovenous Fistula

Abstract
The superficial temporal artery runs a long and relatively exposed course in the scalp. Particularly, this vessel is vulnerable where it crosses the sharp edge of the superior temporal line, which is devoid of an underlying cushion of muscle.
Recently,
the authors experienced one case of post-traumatic superficial temporal arteriovenous fistula. this case confirmed by angiography and was treated successfully by percutaneous treansarterial embolization which resulted in the disappearance of
tinnitus.
